If you would like to enter Germany as a foreigner as a tourist, student, job seeker, employee or family member, you usually need a visa or another residence permit.

If you want to stay longer in Germany as a foreigner, you usually need a residence permit. Even as the holder of a residence permit, you will regularly have interests, for example in extending your temporary residence permit, applying for another temporary residence permit or applying for an unlimited residence permit.

Work Visas

The German labor market is regulated for foreigners. The German labor market is preferred to Germans and EU citizens. If you want to work as a foreigner in Germany, you usually need a work visa. German Citizenship

If you are staying in Germany for several years with a residence permit, you generally have the right to receive German citizenship. If you have German ancestors, then you may be German and therefore have a right to German citizenship.
